5 to 7 years related experience

Good layout, organizing and
fabricating skills

Journeyperson in welding or
fabrication.
§
Grade 10 with math
Responsibilities:
§
Responsible for working safely
in accordance with company procedures
and OH&S regulations. This
includes wearing appropriate
personal protective equipment,
using appropriate equipment
and rigging, and maintaining
good housekeeping in job area.
§
Interpret drawings and organize
work space and equipment.
§
Determine schedule requirements
and perform work efficiently
to meet schedule and estimates.
§
Assembling, fitting and welding
of a fabrication according to
specifications and drawings.
§
Material handling and moving
of finished product.
§
Responsible and reasonable control
of raw material inventory.
§
Participate in developing more
efficient methods, procedures,
and training of less experienced
employees.
