AU
PAIRS
An AU PAIR is a young, single
woman who lives in a foreign country
with a host family. This is a
wonderful way to learn about a
new culture and language –
first hand!
The
AU PAIR lives with a family and
helps care for the children as
well as light housekeeping and
some cooking.
In
exchange for this help, the AU
PAIR receives free room and board
and pocket money of approximately
$100 per week.
Hours
‘ on duty’ are maximum
35 per week. Weekends are usually
free, but sometimes 2 other days
per week is given free.
AU
PAIR PLUS
The
conditions are the same as AU
PAIR, except the AU PAIR PLUS
is ‘on duty’ about
36 to 39 hours per week Pocket
money is from $125 per week.
MOTHERS
HELPERS
A
MOTHERS HELPER has the same conditions
as AU PAIRS, except there is a
much higher level of responsibility.
She is ‘on duty’ from
40 to 50 hours per week. Weekends
(or 2 other days) are usually
free. Pocket money is from $150
per week.
The
longer an au pair can stay, the
easier it is to place her.
Most
families prefer a 9 to 12 month
(or longer ) stay. We can accommodate
au pairs wishing to stay 6 to
9 months too.
SUMMERTIME
PLACEMENTS

do have 2 -3 month summer au pairs
